Most of our channels can support several delivery options for a true Omnichannel Commerce experience, for example, a customer orders a product online, pick it up in the physical store and try the product on, and if the customer is not happy, he/she can process the return management in the same store. It is very much up to your strategy and capabilities how far you want to develop this process and what should or should not be handled

  • Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS or commonly referred to as “Click and collect”) including ship to store option if the product(s) are not available
  • Ship to home
  • Ship to a regional center
  • Shipment and tracking available on all/several channels

Some sales channels only support some of these delivery options due to their nature; for example, Marketplaces tend not to support the BOPIS option. The end customer and your team can always trace the shipment

Different channels might present the product in particular ways due to the nature of the channel. Therefore, we will adapt the system to the specific channel rules

HodCommerce has flexibility regarding which channels are being used for order fulfillment. Normally all orders are fulfilled by your primary fulfillment center (read more on Markethods eCommerce enabler offering for fulfillment options from our fulfillment center) but in some cases, you might want other fulfillment options for example pickup in-store, fulfillment from the regional center etc.

An essential part of fulfillment management is the integration with an Order Management System (OMS); our integrations send orders in real-time to the right fulfillment center and can continuously be tracked from the admin interface

Infrastructure regions and data privacy

HodCommerce has infrastructure regions in Southeast Asia and Europe and follows the PDPA – Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) and GDPR (Europe+UK) regulations. During the setup of HodCommerce, the customer has the choice to choose the most appropriate region where data should be processed and stored

Some of our supported channels have pre-built themes to make it easier to implement these channels; for example, the web channel has pre-built themes that can be used to reduce the implementation of custom design. On the other hand, we do not have pre-built themes for social media and marketplaces, for example, due to the nature of these channels
